To qualify for free shipping on your dry goods order, items must be purchased in a single transaction over the value of $150.

This offer excludes bulky items and is not valid with livestock on the same order.

Every aquarist at our facility is trained to our high standards of packing livestock. Each and every animal is securely placed in size-appropriate poly bags and filled with the appropriate amount of water.  Oxygen then fills the remainder of the bag and it is then fastened with rubber bands for a water-tight seal. From there the bags are double or triple bagged (to avoid livestock puncturing the bag) and then placed into insulated shipping containers (foam boxes) to protect them from the elements and maintain consistent temperatures during transit. Heat and cold packs are also used if needed based on your postcode weather the following morning.

All orders are shipped via TOLL Air, TOLL Priority, or StarTrack Express, Monday to Wednesday.  Any orders placed after Tuesday may potentially be sent the following week unless other arrangements have been made. The day your order ships, you will receive an email containing your tracking number and instructions for pickup (Airport to Airport pickup only). Someone must be available at the time of delivery to prevent livestock from being exposed to the elements for a prolonged period of time.
 
We will hold orders for a maximum of ONE week upon request.
We do not require a signature for delivery, but we urge you to please put your livestock in your aquarium as soon as it is delivered.
 
Please note:
  • If selecting airport to airport delivery at checkout you will be presented with two options. There will be options for both a 5kg and 20kg box. Select the option you think suits the size of your order.  If you happen to choose the wrong option, we will contact you and fix before shipping.  Please contact us with any queries in regards to the best form of transport for your livestock purchases.
  • Tasmanian and Western Australian customers will receive an additional fee for livestock purchases up to 30 days after delivery.  This is a mandatory quarantine charge via the government and is in no way associated with Reeftopia.

 We only ship to addresses based in Australia.


Door to door shipping is sent via StarTrack Express. 

We charge $35 per 5kg box to ANYWHERE in Australia.  If your order exceeds 5kg, we will contact you with options on how we can proceed.  Although we can send anywhere in Australia with this service, we recommend Northern Territory and Western Australia customers use our Airport to Airport service.

Airport to airport shipping is sent via TOLL Air Express.

We charge set amounts based on the size box your order requires.
For up to 5kg we charge $55.  For 5kg to 20kg, we charge $85.  Airport to airport also includes our FULL Livestock Guarantee and is our recommended form of transport for all livestock.

If there’s an airport you’d like your order shipped to that isn’t listed, please get in contact with us and we will contact our freight manager for availability and costs.

To minimise and reduce costs, we offer FREE SHIPPING on orders OVER $150, for dry goods in Australia regardless of the quantity. This offer excludes bulky items, including, but not limited to, aquariums, chillers, aquarium salt, substrate and rock.  For orders UNDER $150, freight is $15, Australia wide, regardless of the quantity.

Bulky items are those with either a high weight or large cubic volume. Products will be marked as bulky on their sales page. This generally only includes aquariums, chillers, aquarium salt, substrate and rock.

All orders placed online will be delivered with trackable information.

Once your order has been dispatched simply check your emails and use the tracking number supplied on the chosen courier page or view our Order Tracking page.

We cannot accept returns of products once they have been opened or used. Before opening and using any product, please check the packaging to ensure you have received the correct product. If the packaging and its contents are still in a new and saleable condition, you may return them to us within 7 days for an exchange, credit, or refund (excluding shipping costs). Return shipping charges incurred are the responsibility of the customer.
