Our media can be put just about anywhere within your system to allow more surface area for biological filtration, resulting in faster conversion of ammonia and nitrite into nitrate.

A big key to having a successful aquarium is to have the proper amount of surface area available for bacteria to settle on. Improve ammonia and nitrite removal and nitrate reduction. The medias tens of thousands of round ceramic spheres were polymerized to create three-dimensional voids and increase the culture area. The innovative design has an optimum pore structure which allows water to flow easily over and through, for beneficial bacteria to flourish.
Important:
- Before using media, rinse with clean aquarium water first.
- Media does not require replacement unless damaged or destroyed. In the event of excessive detritus build up, you may gently rinse with water from an established aquarium.
