The PMUP v2 (Practical Multi-Purpose Utility Pump) is a compact, efficient DC pump designed for multiple aquarium applications — including auto top-off (ATO), media reactors, and dosing systems.
With enhanced safety features, including run-dry and over-temperature protection, the PMUP v2 is a durable and intelligent solution for both saltwater and freshwater systems.

Requires an Apex Controller (any model) and either a 1LINK module or EB832 with a DC24V accessory port. For non-Apex systems, use the standalone PMUP with Power Supply.

Auto Top-Off (ATO)

The most popular use for the PMUP v2. With its powerful head pressure, it can deliver RO/DI water from:

• Under-tank reservoirs

• Even one level below the aquarium (e.g. a garage or utility room)

Its drop-in design is perfect for water jugs or ATO reservoirs, and it integrates directly into Apex-controlled ATO systems.

Media Reactor Circulation

Use the PMUP v2 to power small-to-medium:

• Carbon reactors

• GFO media filters

• Biopellet reactors

Its low wattage makes it an efficient and low-heat alternative to bulky AC powerheads for reactor circulation.
