The Pakistan Butterflyfish has a rich brown to black colour with light spotted scales throughout. Its mask-like head includes two white bands with a black band through the eyes. The tail is most distinct with its wide red band followed by black and white bands.
The Pakistan Butterflyfish may eat stony corals in the wild and is not recommended for the reef aquarium as it will nip at many corals. A 400 litre or larger aquarium is suitable to house the fish.
The Pakistan Butterflyfish requires a varied diet including marine fish, crustacean flesh, brine shrimp, and frozen meaty preparations.
