The Miniatus Grouper makes a spectacular addition to any large home aquarium.
The Miniatus Grouper is a large and very hardy fish which requires a large aquarium of 800 litres or more when full grown. It can be compatible with other fish provided they are too large to be eaten. It should not be trusted around invertebrates or small fish.
In the wild this reef predator commonly attacks schools of reef-dwelling fish. In home aquariums, pieces of prawn, squid or anything meaty is acceptable.
