It is important to maintain a stress-free environment during the initial introductory period. Therefore, house the Cheek Lined Maori Wrasse with other peaceful species. As the established fish matures, it may demonstrate aggressive territorial behavior towards similar-sized fish.
The Cheek Lined Maori Wrasse will eat feather dusters, very small shrimp, crabs, tubeworms, and flatworms. The diet of the Cheek Lined Maori Wrasse should include vitamin enriched frozen mysis shrimp, vitamin-enriched frozen brine shrimp, enriched clam and mussel meat and other meaty foods.
