The Yellowfin Fairy Wrasse is mostly red and white in colouration with a yellow dorsal fin. The females of this species, like other wrasses are mostly pink with a white underside.
A 150 litre or larger aquarium, either fish-only or reef, with a shaded area is recommended. The Yellowfin Fairy Wrasse will not bother fish or invertebrates, making them a perfect addition to any reef aquarium. These fish do like to jump, so a tight fitting canopy is required.
The Yellowfin Fairy Wrasse diet should include vitamin enriched frozen mysis and brine shrimp, and other meaty foods along with a high quality marine flake and pellet food.
